Chinese Foot and Hand Massage (Westminster Indemnity insurance) - 1 day £175

This course is for beginners and will interest students who want to work with hands and feet. Eastern Facial Massage (Beauty Guild Accredited) - 1 day £175

Eastern Facial Massage uses techniques drawn from Japanese anma and it helps enhance the condition of the skin, removes toxins from the face and balances ki, or life force, to improve overall health.

The purpose of Eastern Facial Massage is to work specifically and precisely with the facial meridians and tsubo (acupuncture points) to achieve a balance in the entire facial skin, muscles and internal organs. It gently stimulates the nervous system to increase blood and lymph circulation, reduce and prevent wrinkles, repair and balance the condition of the skin, minimize the ageing process, and leave your face looking healthy and feeling great.

Ayurveda Foot Massage (Padabhyanga) with the Kaashi bowl (Westminster Indemnity insurance) - 1 day £175

Exclusive to me, this course teaches foot massage using the kaash bowl and traditional ghee or coconut oil as the vegan alternative. The treatment includes a foot ritual, to welcome and open the feet. We use beautiful pink Himalayan salt, other natural vegan friendly ingredients to bring cleansing luxury and make the feet ready for their massage.

Padabhyanga brings a great increase in relaxation and wellbeing and promotes balance at the physical level as well as at the energetic. Stimulating the nerves and muscles of the feet helps posture, physical balance and gait which in turn improve our body mechanics.

Foot massage is always a relaxing therapy but the Kaash bowl gives this foot massage a number of added benefits:

  • Helps tone the foot muscles
  • Helps reduce stress and promote relaxing and good quality sleep.
  • Stimulates the marma points and reflexes of the foot.
  • The ghee, balm or oil used moisturizes the feet, preventing cracking and discomfort.
  • In Ayurvedic thought, the Kaash Bowl massage is said to stimulate the metabolism and have a relaxing effect on the eyes because it balances the energies of the marma points associated with the five senses and reflexes associated with the organ functions.

All the equipment you require to do the course is provided on the day including towels, massage bowls and appropriate massage oil, ghee and other products.

Treatment time is 40 minutes plus consultation.

Ear Candling is a deluxe, pampering option that your clients will return for again and again! It is a therapy which is popular with men as well as with women, and men are a growing market for salons and spas.

Beautiful Backs Course (Westminster Indemnity insurable) - 1 day £175

You will learn relaxing massage of the back, neck and shoulders with beautiful oils or cream AND a treatment to help the condition of the skin in these areas.

The first stage of the treatment is a scrub to thoroughly cleanse the back, followed by a mask to help improve circulation and the texture of the skin. Himalayan Salt Stone Therapy (Insurable with Westminster Indemnity/check existing provider) - £195

Our full body Himalayan Salt Stone & Crystal Therapy course combines the benefits of heated stones with the unique qualities of Himalayan salt. The warm Himalayan Salt Stones relax the client and enable the therapist to give deep massage. The crystals are used in layouts to provide a layer of subtle and spiritual healing to the client.

The Himalayan Salt stones can also be chilled and used cold, and this brings a different range of benefits. Cold stones are excellent to ease decongestion e.g. deep tissue inflammation or sinus problems. They assist the reduction of erythema (redness) and soothe irritation which may occur to sensitive skins during a hot stone treatment. They are delicious on a hot day, and one or two stones used at the end of a treatment will help a client come gently back to themselves.
